The Church of Love & Service is a non-denominational, virtual gathering that brings people together from across the world — not to be preached at, but to bear witness to each other's lives. One family. One earth. The circle is always open.
The vision
To make global family a thing you can feel.
We begin from something quietly radical: that the spirit running through the wisdom of every people — the Bhagavad Gita, the Psalms, the teachings of the Buddha, the Quran, the wisdom of indigenous elders — is one and the same. A spirit of generosity, of love, of connection — apart from dogma and all the ways we separate.
The Church of Love & Service exists to turn the idea of a global family into something visceral — something you can feel in your chest — so that it moves us to make the greatest positive difference we can, and reveals the weight and beauty of each person's living legacy.
We are not here to convince you of anything. We are here to bear witness to your life.
The through-line across traditions
One thread, spoken in many tongues.
The same truth keeps surfacing wherever people have gathered to make sense of being alive: that we are made for one another. We don't rank the paths that carry it. We don't blend them into one. We simply notice where they already agree — and we gather there.

The Quaker spirit · how we hold the circle
No one leads from above.
In a Quaker meeting there is no preacher — only the gathered group and the silence between them. We borrow that shape. A facilitator opens the space and holds it gently, framing the gathering with a question or a passage, never a sermon, and then steps back so the circle can fill with voices.
Power is decoupled from the podium. The one who speaks is not above the one who listens; an hour later they may trade places. Every offering is received with gratitude. No one is a spectator.

The founding story
It began in the work of bearing witness.
The Church of Love & Service grew from something noticed over years of humanitarian work: that the people the world is quick to call strangers — the displaced, the refugee, the forgotten — carry courage, wisdom, and love that the rest of us desperately need to hear.
Its roots are in SafePlace International, the nonprofit founded by Justin to walk alongside displaced and marginalized communities — work that has reached people in Ghana, South Sudan, and Greece.
The same truth kept surfacing: when someone in a place of comfort truly listens to someone in a place of hardship, both are changed, and the distance between them — the thing we call "other" — quietly dissolves. The Church is what happens when we build a room for that on purpose, and open it to the whole world.
We are only at the beginning. The first circles are small and real — a handful of voices from across the founder's network, gathering for the very first time. We would love for one of them, before long, to be yours.
